Our history
From four people above a coffee shop to 180 across three countries
2009
Founded in Tanjong Pagar
Chandra Rajan and two former colleagues incorporate Orion Dynamics as a four-person SAP support practice above a coffee shop on Duxton Road.
2012
First regional client
A Malaysian palm-oil group hires Orion for a cross-border ERP consolidation — the company's first engagement outside Singapore and the start of its manufacturing vertical.
2015
Managed services launched
Orion opens its 24/7 service desk, moving from project-only work to long-term managed operations. Headcount crosses 50.
2018
Kuala Lumpur delivery centre
A second office opens in KL Sentral to support round-the-clock delivery and to tap the Malaysian engineering talent pool.
2020
Remote by necessity, hybrid by design
The firm moves 100% remote in eight days during the circuit breaker, then keeps a three-day hybrid pattern permanently.
2022
Cybersecurity practice formed
After a client ransomware incident, Orion spins its internal security function into a client-facing practice led by a dedicated Head of Cybersecurity.
2024
Ho Chi Minh City engineering hub
A third office opens in District 1, focused on application engineering and ERP development.
2026
Project Phoenix begins
Orion starts migrating its own 14-year-old ERP to SAP S/4HANA — the largest internal programme in company history, and a live reference for its clients.
