Direction, governance and the final call

The Executive Office sets company strategy, owns the board relationship and signs off on anything that materially changes Orion's risk profile. It is deliberately small — four people — and leans on department directors rather than a management layer of its own.

Cash, controls and the quarterly close

Finance runs the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll coordination, treasury and management reporting. It is the busiest department at quarter end and the primary owner of Orion's payment controls.

Keeping 180 people online and out of trouble

A combined function covering the internal service desk, endpoint and identity management, network and cloud infrastructure, and the security operations capability that also serves managed-services clients.

Pipeline, positioning and the Orion Tech Summit

Marketing and Sales sit under one director. The team owns demand generation, the annual Orion Tech Summit, bid management and the regional account relationships that keep the delivery teams busy.

Hiring, growing and looking after people

HR covers talent acquisition, onboarding, learning and development, performance cycles, payroll input and employee relations across all three offices. It also runs the graduate recruitment programme.

Vendors, contracts and how work actually gets delivered

Operations owns delivery governance, resourcing and the project management office. Procurement sits alongside it, managing the vendor master, purchase orders, contract renewals and supplier due diligence.
