Project Phoenix enters Phase 2 as finance cutover date is confirmed

The internal ERP migration moves into its second phase, with the finance general ledger cutover confirmed for the FY27 Q1 freeze weekend.

Project Phoenix, Orion Dynamics' migration of its own enterprise resource planning platform to SAP S/4HANA, has formally completed Phase 1 and moved into Phase 2 configuration and testing.

Programme director David Chua confirmed that the finance general ledger and accounts payable cutover will take place over the FY27 Q1 freeze weekend, with user acceptance testing running in parallel across all three offices from August.

"Sixty nominated testers across Singapore, KL and Ho Chi Minh City will be working alongside our implementation partner over the next four months," said Chua. "Colleagues will see a lot of new names and new email addresses in their inboxes during this period. If a request looks unusual, check it through the normal channel before you act on it."

The vendor master data clean-up continues in parallel, with all 1,400 supplier records being re-verified before migration.
